There's nothing like an over-the-bar remedy. Like a shot of Robitussin.

In a mixing cup over ice, pour 1 ½ oz. of cherry vodka and 1 ½ oz. root beer schnapps. If the bar doesn't have cherry vodka, pour regular vodka and add a healthy dose of grenadine. Strain this into a shot glass.

WARNING: this concoction has no medicinal value and probably not as much alcohol as the actual named product.
