Welcome to my Camaro Fan Page

"What is a Camaro? A small, vicious animal that eats Mustangs."
From the time a was little and saw my Parent's 1967 Camaro Convertible, I've been a fan of the Chevy Camaro. Since that one, my Parents owned several Camaros (3), including the 1975 Model which I took over in 1980 after getting my Driver's License at age 17. Unfortuntately for me, that car was stolen in 1984 and was never recovered. My Sister once owned a 1968 Camaro, and currently owns a Gen6 Camaro SS. My Grandparents, from my Dad's side, owned a 1968 Camaro, purchased new. My Parents handed down their 1995(?) Camaro RS to one of their Granddaughters, which unfortunately ended up in an Oklahoma ditch. My Dad once owned a 1969 Camaro which I thought I would get at 17, but Dad thought the Engine, a 396 cu. in., would be too much for a teenager to handle and would get me into trouble. I did later get a few Traffic Tickets with the '75, so maybe He had the right idea. I have not had a Camaro since the '75, and there was a time when the Camaro was no longer produced.

Maybe 2005, or 2006, Chevrolet presented a Camaro Concept, announced production starting in 2008 and new cars arriving for the 2009 Model year. I first saw the Concept Car in Miami at an Auto Show in 2006. In 2009, NASCAR Racing Team Owner Rick Hendrick purchased the first and second Camaros off the Production Line. Later that year, I was able to see those Cars, as well as other Camaros, at Rick Hendrick's Chevrolet Dealership in Durham, NC.

Announced March 22, 2023, production of this generation Camaro will end January 2024 and introduce a Collector's Edition, but Chevy says the Camaro nameplate will live on and a successor will be announced in the future. Maybe Electric?

According to Autoblog.com, "The final Camaro coupe said goodbye to the assembly facility on December 14 (2023)."

This page is my collection of photos celebrating that new Camaro design, Gen 6, and my favorite Camaros.
